Warm Hearts Community Support was founded on May 13, 2023, by Adedamola Durodola, driven by a personal commitment to assist others and address the significant gaps in support for vulnerable populations in the UK. Recognising the challenges faced by many, including social isolation and financial hardship, Adedamola was inspired to create a community-focused organisation dedicated to alleviating these struggles.
In the early days, Adedamola, alongside three friends, initiated outreach by distributing food stamps and providing hot beverages to homeless individuals. They also organized free online computer classes for the underprivileged, aiming to bridge the digital divide and empower individuals with essential skills
Within six months, Warm Hearts expanded its services, launching two new programs that broadened our reach and strengthened partnerships. By the end of our first year, we increased volunteer engagement by 25%, launched three programs, assisted over 50 individuals, and established two key partnerships.
We are committed to empowering more individuals and reducing poverty across the UK. Our goals include expanding our services to new regions, developing innovative support programs, and fostering a network of local organisations, businesses, and volunteers.
